Wonderful recreation of a traditional Victorian pub. Beers from their own brewing company: Swan Walters & Son and a single wine option. Stripped back delight, with good conversation the main attraction. Keep your mobile phones in your pocket!
Just one of those places you go into and immediately feel relaxed and at home. Good bar area and withdrawing rooms behind and upstairs.Great attention has been paid to retaining detail of the time and being a mobile phone free environment adds to the pleasure.Excellent choice of beers served in decent handled glasses and kept in top top condition in the cellar.Yet to try the wine, and perhaps my anticipation of it being claret (to go with the time period) may be dampened.Must remember a book for next time.
If you enjoy Disney World drink here x Beer is great but alternatives are just one....wine. No Mothers ruin for an alternative Victorian Experience...let alone a Port and Lemon.We asked and told we were not politically correct !? Bizzarre..
The Blood Bay is a Victorian style pub,it has a great atmosphere, the pail ale and the stout the best and you can't get these anywhere else, mobile phones are fround upon.
A traditional Victorian pub with no changes to hire it was 'back in the day'. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and a look back in time.
