We are regular visitors here. We always go for the 5 main courses which are superb value and good quality too. Why chose anything else. Drinks reasonable price. Service can be slow so be prepared. But for the price and quality it is worth the wait.
Cold food most of the time. Steaks are a gamble (well done to rare) - staff are nice though.Revisited - waited an hour for food. Most cold, bits missing, one person totally forgotten and was promised a few minutes wait - we had finished when it arrived.
Been here a few times now because of its convenient location to me but this is the last time 20 minutes to wait for drink order to be taken and a further 10 for the drink, I don't mind if it's busy but it wasn't. No cutlery or napkins either although the 3 waiting staff were all cleaning tables. The food was the saving grace of today and was really nice, so if you're willing to sit and wait for it enjoy your meal
Diabolical. The only word to describe this joke they call a pub/restaurant. Ive been visiting Ludlow for many years as we have family there. And of all the places to choose from to eat, this was and always has been the worst. Its not a recent one off either. 15 years ago was my first visit and it was terrible then. Slow, unfriendly service with incorrectly cooked, low quality food. My family forced me to revisit because they have a kids play area but now Im lucky enough to have a child whos grown up and Im no longer being dragged to this disgusting hell hole. I can only congratulate them in their ability to be consistent for 15 years. Consistently shocking. Its just awful. The only reason I can recommend you go is that youre just too happy and need something to remind you just how terrible the world can be
