Old building but full of character, comfy bed, room smallish but adequate with a lovely view of the castle. Breakfast was really nice.
Fantastic hotel, beautifully decorated with open fires burning in lounge, bar and dinning area. Our meal and breakfast was of the highest quality and very tasty.

I grew up in Shropshire and I attended Ludlow School. I come home as often as I can to visit my mother. Sadly I made the mistake of checking in with Dinham Hall Hotel in Ludlow. I never write reviews but after my experience of staying here for 4 days, am extremely disappointed and upset. The rooms are far from comfortable, the mattresses are hard and worn. The cleanliness is not of a high standard. A charming place is not, the staff are badly trained, quite unfriendly. I travel allot and this hotel is well below its star rating. My biggest disappointment was that of manager, arrogant French man who challenged me over my hotel fees, he tried to charge me twice on my booking. After I showed him my receipt, he still wouldn't except the facts. I have never felt so humiliated and treated so appallingly. This man has no idea how to run a hotel, clearly he did not grow up in shropshire as people from this region have manors. My advice to you would be avoid Dinham Hall. Also just discovered that thay took money from my credit card with out my consent. Luckily I got on to the bank and revered the payment. This was no mistake it was fraudulent and after emailing Dinham Hall thay refused to comment. Dam right fraud your lucky I don't take legal action.
This hotel is perfect for Ludlow castle and for visiting Shropshire, the staff are so attentive and the food is excellent. We had dinner in Elliotts which was perfect, try the snails to start and the duck for main course. 5 stars all round.
