Idyllic and indulgent. Old school England at its best.
I loved the location, as it is just seconds away from great food (Thai, English, French), the old church, and many historic buildings. It is a few minutes away from the castle and the river walk, which makes it a perfectly ideal location.The furniture and bed were comfortable, the breakfast was delightful, and I got a kick out of having crossbeams in the shower room.
Lovely little town
Absolutely fantastic place! A real gem. The room was spotlessly clean. Thank you to the staff who work so hard to keep the rooms immaculate. Breakfasts were amazing at the local delicatessen. Highly recommend it!!
This was the third time we have been here and every time we have had a great time. The room room is always we presented with lots of extras like a fridge with a mini bar, a good quality coffee maker and a wine cooler. There is also a good breakfast in a local delicatesant / small restaurant. We will be definitely coming back again.
