We had a wonderful stay at Whitfield House. The room is large and roomy, with a very comfortable bed, and the views of the countryside, and the castle area of Ludlow, from the window are stunning. We had full English breakfasts, which were very tasty and filling, particularly the Ludlow sausages. More importantly, we received a very warm and friendly welcome from the house proprietors, Sarah and Andrew, who put us completely at ease, always seemed to be available to us, and they gave us much useful about the local area. Having been extremely satisfied with our stay here, we would certainly like to stay at this guest house again.K M Welsh
We stayed at Whitfield House just after Easter. It was a lovely house, excellent breakfast and a wonderful view. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. There is a short walk up the hill to central ludlow but it was perfectly situated for us as we were visiting family locally. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay.
December breakA gem of a house with a very good breakfast and beautiful views. Lovely accommodation and friendly host. We received a warm welcome with the offer of tea. The French bedroom was perfect for our stay. The room was warm with a cosy bed. Plenty of bottled water in the nearby fridge and chocolate, biscuits and a couple of wine glasses in case of emergencies! The towels were beautifully thick and the whole place is spotlessly clean. We walked into Ludlow Town for some Christmas shopping around the local independent shops and enjoyed our winter break very much. Thank you.
